¿De qué trata Skip Beat?
Kyoko Mogami esta enamorada de su amigo de la infancia y estrella pop-rock Sho Fuwa...ella lo acompaña a Tokyo para que él realice su sueño de convertirse en una estrella. Kyoko trabaja muy duro para pagar la renta del edificio en el que viven (aunque Sho es bastante famoso ya, así que casi nunca esta ahi) y limpia, etc. Un dia Kyoko se entera que Sho sólo la estuvo usando, que para él ella no significa nada. Entonces Kyoko decide vengarse, pero para eso necesitará convertirse en una estrella para así poder humillarlo y llevar a cabo su venganza contra el. Además, como si esto fuera poco, gracias a Sho Kyoko perdió la creencia en el amor, sentimiento muy importante para ser parte del mundo del espectáculo.

Ren is flashbacking to his conversation with Bo. He's confused about his feelings with Kyoko. His shoot for Dark Moon is coming up and, as always, he's not eating properly. Kyoko is asked to go to his house and feed him and she does. While there, it's uncomfortablly silent so they turn on the TV. The show is about a couple with a 19-year difference and the man is her teacher. A similar situation which sets them both on edge. Later, he drives her home and when she says something, he hides his feelings and realizes it later. Kyoko wishes on her blue Corn stone and wishes for Ren's strength. The next day, they both go to the set and she talks about how far she's come.
